Calling ALL Cub Scouts!!!

How does four days and three nights camping in the wilderness sound? While you are there you can swim, shoot arrows and bb-guns, and complete rank requirements or earn pins or belt loops. Parents: Join your son in a great adventure at Rancho Alegre Cub Resident Camp from July 21-24. Do some fantastic things during your stay and watch your son grow and mature.

Resident Camp is a once a year opportunity to bond with your son in the outdoors. Cost is only $255 which covers both the Scout and one parent. See Registration Page for rates for additional adults or a sibling.

For more information, visit our Resident Camp web page. If you want to come, here are some links to forms you will need.

Rancho Alegre Summer Camp Has Openings for Provisional Scouts

Missed going to Summer Camp with your unit?  Do you still need more merit badges to make Eagle? Would you like another week in the great outdoors? Are the parents driving you crazy (or vice versa) and you just need to get away?

If you answered "Yes" to any of these questions, why not attend Rancho Alegre Summer Camp as a Provisional Scout. We supply your unit leadership, and you work and live with Scouts like yourself who are there for the experience. One of the nice things at Rancho Alegre is that we offer all the Eagle Required Merit Badges (except Cycling). What would one week at camp mean? We even our offering two sessions of the newly Eagle-required Cooking Merit Badge.  Make a big leap on becoming Eagle! Cost is $350 which includes your food and activities for six days in the outdoors. We have two sessions: July 7-13 (Sun-Sat) and July 15-20 (Mon-Sat). Call Camp Director Wayne Rascati at 686-5167 (weekdays) or check out the info on the Council website.

Friends of Scouting

Have you made your 2013 commitment to Scouting? If not, please do it today online at the Council's website

In addition to any money that you pay to your unit, it takes at least $150 annually to support your Scout and keep our facilities open. FOS makes this all possible. Your donation is tax deductible, and we will work with you if your employer has a matching contributing program.

To download a special brochure about FOS, click here. For the special LDS unit FOS brochure, click here.
