WEBELOS WOODS 2017
RANCHO ALEGRE
One of the most popular events of the year is coming up this Fall at Rancho Alegre. Rancho Alegre is located near Lake Cachuma on Highway 154. Please register early; as we need to plan food, patrol and campsite assignments, and remember, this very popular campout is limited to 100 boy and adult partners.
This event is a Council sponsored outdoor experience for all Webelos and their adult partners. Scouts participate in events including field sports, hiking, and camp craft activities. Check-in begins at 4 PM Friday at the dining hall. Each Webelos Scout and his adult partner should register together. Dinner will be served in the Dining Hall at 6:15 PM. After dinner, a campfire will be held at the Bowl (or in the dining hall if it rains!) The Boy Scouts of America is a uniformed organization. Accordingly, all Webelos Scouts, leaders and staff should wear uniforms.
After check-in, and before dinner, you will need to set up in your assigned camping area and meet the other members of your Patrol. Saturday will be activity day with each patrol rotating through activities. Breakfast and lunch will be served in the dining hall. A closing ceremony at 5:00 PM will conclude the weekend’s events.
