On October 28th, 2021, Los Padres Council, BSA is happy to announce that we will be holding our annual Salute to Scouting dinner. This event is designed not only to give people an opportunity to come together but also to recognize leaders in our community who have helped build character and leadership in the youth of Santa Barbara County.  We are proud to announce this year’s event will recognize local Scouter and community member John Brinker with the National Outstanding Eagle Scout Award. Additionally, Lani Meanley-Collins of Collins & Associates will be honored with Los Padres Council’s Legacy Award for all of her work to keep our communities healthy and our local youth safe and thriving.

Of the over 7,000 young people who have participated annually in our local Scouting, Exploring, and The Outdoor School programs, some will become your neighbor or employee, some will lead our country, and some will pass on the legacy of Scouting to the next generation; but all will make a positive impact on their communities.

On behalf of the Planning Committee, we invite you to join us on Thursday, October 28th, 2021 at the Santa Barbara Club in celebration of John Brinker and Lani Meanley-Collins for their support of youth programs in our communities.

Cancellation Policy
It is the policy of the Los Padres Council, that all fees are transferable, but not refundable. Failure to participate in an activity does not warrant a refund. However, refunds for emergencies, serious illnesses, unforeseen circumstances, death or job or military relocation may be considered. Requests will only be considered when they are put in writing within four (4) weeks of the event’s conclusion. All refund requests will be reviewed by the event Professional Staff Adviser. Some refund requests will need approval by the Los Padres Council Finance Committee. All refunds and reimbursements requests submitted 30 days, or later, from the date of the event must be approved by the Los Padres Council Finance Committee.
