SUBJECT: Making Scouting accessible for families
Dear South Coast Scouters,
As leaders in one of the country's leading youth-serving organizations, you know how important it is to bring the benefits of Scouting to the greatest number of youth possible — all while remaining true to our mission and core values, outlined in the Scout Oath and Law.
Please join us this week for an important conversation about how to make Scouting more accessible to today’s families. We will view a brief video from Chief Scout Executive Michael Surbaugh, followed by a discussion and opportunity for your feedback. The link to an online survey will also be provided, so individual scouters may provide feedback to the National Board.
